District-School Leadership Accountability Network
District-School Leadership Accountability Network (DSLAN) is a leadership network that focuses on developing well-informed, well-supported District-School Leadership Teams (DSLTs). Participants are site and district level administrators, teachers and instructional support staff from Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Solano Counties. Each school year, network meetings include training related to the use and analysis of the state's recommended school and district self-assessment tools (e.g. APS, DAS, ELSSA, LRE, etc.); comprehensive, valid, and reliable districtwide assessment and data management systems; showcase(s) of successfully transforming/transformed PI schools/districts; field-excursions to successfully transforming PI schools/districts; and other timely and pertinent school improvement topics. During the 2008-2009 school year, a series of events on the topic of Professional Learning Communities is a DSLAN feature.
